Hey, thank you :) The purple and black tops are Pineapple Dance wear and I can’t remember exactly where the slightly longer pink and purpley/bluey top is from, but I think they have similar styles in H&M. I get quite a lot of pole wear from H&M actually! Hope that helps x
hey! whats your experience with pole fitness? I'm very out of shape, but not overweight. I just hate exercise. But this seems like so much fun... Is it a good workout? does it matter that i'd be starting with virtually no core/upper body strength?
Hey, I’ve been doing it for about 2 years. I didn’t want to go to the gym either so thats why I took it up :) It’s the best workout I’ve ever done, literally you’re whole body aches after a good pole session (in a good way!) It keeps you in great shape if you do it enough and it’s so much fun you’ll ant to do it al the time! It doesn’t matter if you have no core.upper body strength, thats what pole is great for. I didn’t either when I started - hadn’t done exercise properly for years until I took up pole and now it’s changed my body!
Hello. I have a pole at home that I've been lightly practicing on. (most just climbing, pole sits and planks). Today I was playing around on it as usual and I felt significant pain in my arm. from my shoulders to underarm and even my forearm. It feels stiff now and its too painful to use it to climb anymore. any suggestions?
Hey, the arms are obviously a major part of pole so as you’re developing strength they can sometimes get injured for seemingly no reason. If it was a sharp pain, you might have trapped a nerve, if it feels more like a muscular pull you may have just over worked it and strained it. I’m no doctor but this is just what I know from my own experiences. Try to rest your arm as much as possible until it feels better and it should heal on its own. Don’t do any pole work if it still hurts as you could make it worse. If it’s really bothering you, maybe see a doctor :) Hope it gets better soon!
